When I'm in the workshop, I "forget" the world around me and time stands still. I mentally recharge and empty my head of everything else - wonderful.
It is fascinating how a lump of clay can be shaped on the wheel into the most beautiful ceramics.

Passion, care and love for the processes are some of the keywords that fit my way of making ceramics and I hope you will notice that when you use, see and feel my ceramics.

Everything is handmade and unique. Although the expression may be similar, no two pieces are identical – and fortunately for that – that is part of the charm of handmade crafts.

I am interested in different structures that I cut into the ceramics while they are still unfired. My glazes are often applied in several layers, creating an exciting and vibrant expression. It takes a lot more time, but I love the look that the glazes get with this method. I find inspiration in the play of colors and surfaces in nature.

For me, the imperfect is absolutely perfect - that's why I call my ceramics "Perfectly Imperfect"
